文学与新闻传播学院简介

文学与新闻传播学院创办于1958年,2002年开始本科招生。现有汉语言文学(师范)、广播电视学、网络与新媒体三个本科专业。汉语言文学专业为湖南省一流本科专业建设点,校级“十二五”“十三五”专业综合改革试点专业;广播电视学专业曾评为B+等级。建有国家级大学生校外实践教育基地1个,现代传媒实验教学中心1个,仪器设备总价值达650余万元。学院先后承接学校与乌克兰卢甘斯克国立师范大学交换生项目、湖南省“一带一路”沿线国家语言生奖学金培养项目。2018年开始招收学历留学生。目前在校学生1363人。

 

学院现有教职工50人(含外聘教师),其中专任教师43人,教授10人,副教授16人,博士23人。有省级教学名师1人,省级学科带头人1人,湖南省“百人工程”专家1人,湖南省新世纪“121”人才工程2人,省级青年骨干教师8人,省级教学能手2人,硕士研究生导师5人。

 

学院以应用型人才为培养目标,培养的学生主要从事中学语文教学、党政机关管理或文秘、文学创作、新闻采编、节目制作及企事业单位宣传、策划、营销传播等工作。现有中国文学、汉语课程、大学语文三个校级教学团队,先后主持省级教改课题12项,其中重点课题2项;获全国新闻学与传播学教学创新项目1项,省级教学成果二等奖1项、三等奖4项。

 

学院坚持以立德为根本,以树人为核心,将思想政治教育贯穿于专业教育的全过程。“打造校园影视文化构建立德树人新平台”获第九届高校校园文化建设优秀成果一等奖。汉语言文学专业构建了“突出师范性、强化应用性、实施协同育人”的应用型人才培养模式;广播电视学、网络与新媒体专业系统构建了校媒、校地协同育人模式。学生在学科竞赛中分别获国家级、省级奖项58项、165项。汉语言文学专业首次教师资格证考试通过率高出全省平均通过率约20个百分点;广电、网媒专业100%的学生有实践作品,大部分学生在学科竞赛中获奖。《中国教育报》《湖南日报》等媒体报道了学院的教学成果。

 

学院高度重视科学研究工作。中国现当代文学为省级重点建设学科,中国语言文学为校级应用特色学科,中国古代文学、汉语言文字学为校级重点建设学科。教师主持科研课题近200项,其中国家社科基金课题8项,国家教育部课题7项,国家语委课题3项,湖南省社科基金课题近40项;出版学术著作近60部,发表学术论文近1300篇,其中权威期刊5篇,CSSCI来源期(集)刊近180篇。获省级社科成果奖3项,市级社科成果奖10项。

 

学院充分发挥学科专业优势,努力追求人才培养与社会服务的“双效”统一。近年来,承担了“国培”项目(湖南省初中语文骨干教师集中培训与影子实践项目)、“省培”项目(邵阳市高中语文骨干教师短期集中培训);主动参与国家语保工程建设,承接了怀化市区、芷江县、麻阳县方言调查;承接武陵山片区各类文化传播项目和地方文化研究课题,对辰溪大酉文化进行了专项研究;承担民族民间文化艺术、非物质文化遗产的可视化保护与影像传播,企事业单位专题片、形象宣传片等的拍摄与制作。每年承担10-20个地方服务项目,进账经费50-90万元。摄制的“千年湘西·古城古镇古村行”系列文化纪录片,被湖南省新闻出版广电局监听监看中心认定为一档“传承传统文化的好节目”,由湖南人民出版社出版,并被湖南图书馆作为数字资源采购。

 

60多年来,学院累计培养各类毕业生近2万人,大多在教育、文化、管理等领域做出了重要贡献,产生了广泛影响,涌现出一大批以著名作家王跃文为代表的优秀校友。

 

汉语言文学专业(师范):主要培养各类中等语文师资以及企事业单位、党政机关的管理、文秘、文员等应用型专门人才。主要课程有:古代文学、现当代文学、外国文学、文学概论、古代汉语、现代汉语、语言学概论、写作等。

 

广播电视学专业:主要培养胜任广播电视、新闻媒体、文化宣传部门或企事业单位的新闻采访报道、文稿编辑、节目制作及宣传策划等工作的应用型专门人才。主要课程有:新闻学概论、传播学、广播电视概论、新闻史、视听语言、新闻采访与写作、电视节目制作、网络传播等。

 

网络与新媒体专业:主要培养能在新媒体内容公司、传媒公司、电子商务公司、公关公司、调查咨询公司等新媒体传播与应用机构及企事业单位从事新媒体策划、新媒体资讯编辑与传播、网络舆论分析与引导、网络信息管理、新媒体营销与经营的应用型人才。主要课程有:新媒体概论、数字摄影、数字摄像、数字图形处理、数字视音频编辑、微视频创作、新媒体营销、互联网产品创意与设计、网络舆情管理。

 

Introduction

The School of Literature and Journalismformerly the Department of Chinese Language and Literaturewas founded in 1958 and is one of the earliest majors in our school. Currently, there are three undergraduate majorsincluding Chinese Language and Literature, Radio and Television, and Network and New Media. And the Chinese language and literature is pedagogical specialty major , with nearly 1,200 students.

There are 45 faculty members, including 40 full-time teachers, 8 professors, 16 associate professors and 20 doctors. There are 1 provincial-level outstanding teacher, 1 provincial-level academic leader, and 8 provincial-level young junior faculties , 2 provincial-level teaching masters and 3 postgraduate  tutors.

The subject modern and contemporary Chinese literature is the key built discipline of the “12th Five-year Plan”and“13th Five-Year Plan”in Hunan Province. The ancient Chinese literature and Chinese philology is the key built discipline of Huaihua College. In the past nearly five years, we have hosted 5 national projects, 8 projects of the Ministry of Education, 15 provincial social science fund projects, 12 key education centers and outstanding youth projects, and 6 provincial education reform projects. The teachers published more than 30 monographs and textbooks, and published more than 500 papers, including 2 authoritative journals, more than 50 CSSCI journals, and more than 150 Chinese core journals. There are 1 provincial-level quality course and 6 school-level quality courses.

“Huaihua College-Huaihua Radio and Television Station Literature Practice Education Base” is an off-campus practice education base for undergraduate teaching projects of local colleges and universitieswhich is approved by the Ministry of Education. The radio and television news digital multi-functional comprehensive laboratory and the modern media experimental teaching center are special funds construction laboratories of central and local universities, with instruments and equipment worth more than 5 million yuan. In recent years, The School of Literature and Journalism has been exploring the construction of a hierarchical professional competence training system by : Yijiang Literature Society, Chinese Drama Club, Writing Experimental Class, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Class, Reading Reporting Conference, Simulation Class Competition, Language Basic Skill Competition, Chinese Language Cultural Week is a platform for the development of Chinese language and literature professional competence; “GTV”, video art festival, all-media innovation training center, Huaihua University-Huaihua Radio and Television Station Literature Practice Education Base, etc. are the platform for students of Radio and TV major and Network and New Media Major . Over the past 50 years, we have trained more than 15,000 graduates of various types. In the past five years, more than 180 graduates have obtained master's degree and over 80 students have past the examination of selected graduates and government employees. The initial employment rate has remained above 95%.

Chinese Language and Literature major: It mainly trains all kinds of intermediate Chinese teachers, as well as application-oriented professionals such as management, secretaries and clerks of enterprises and institutions, party and government organs. The main courses are: ancient literature, modern and contemporary literature, foreign literature, literature introduction, ancient Chinese, modern Chinese, introduction to linguistics, writing and so on.

Radio and TV major: It mainly trains application-oriented professionals who are qualified for radio and television, news media, cultural propaganda departments or enterprises, who are good at reporting on news, manuscript editing, program production and publicity planning. The main courses are: Introduction to Journalism, Communication Studies, Introduction to Radio and Television, News History, Audiovisual Language, News Interview and Writing, TV Program Production, and Internet Communication.

Network and New Media Major: Mainly cultivate the applied talents who can work for new media companies, e-commerce companies, public relations companies, survey and consulting companies and other new media communication and application institutions to engage in new media planning, new media information editing and dissemination , application analysis of network public opinion analysis and guidance, network information management, new media marketing and management. The main courses are: Introduction to New Media, Digital Photography, Digital Camera, Digital Graphics Processing, Digital Video and Audio Editing, Micro Video Creation, New Media Marketing, Internet Product Creation and Design, and Internet Public Opinion Management.
